That’s when Lisa decided it was time for an innovative, healthy-aging skincare app.

Initially, Topflight was called on to create a white-glove mobile experience for GoodSkin customers so they could easily explore the clinic’s services and shop for a quote.
First of all, we enhanced the app with features accessible to GoodSkin staff:

The practitioners could bring up the app during consultations to put together a treatment plan and then initiate and process the payment.
However, it quickly became evident that the app could do so much more by creating a streamlined and engaging experience for both customers and GoodSkin personnel.

On the patient side of the app, we focused on making the clinic’s services easily accessible, engaging, and informative:
Instead of creating separate apps for iPad and iPhone, we used React Native to build a single app. The outcome? An exceptional user experience on iPads, which we gracefully downgraded for iPhones.
To enable on-the-spot payment processing, we integrated the app with a Bluetooth credit card reader by Stripe. As a result, GoodSkin started collecting payments by swiping cards in the reader or manually entering card details into the app.

To add a touch of personality, the app automatically matches GoodSkin services with customers’ areas of concern, ethnicity, age, and other physical attributes.
While creating a treatment plan, users can add their photos by taking a picture or uploading a photo from the gallery. Practitioners can also upload images from Google Photos.
The GoodSkin app is live in the App Store, sporting 5-star reviews. The company enjoys well-deserved attention in the media spotlight and reaps the benefits of having a digital channel for engaging and keeping in touch with its customers, especially during the pandemic.
