engaging and informative
daily skincare routines.
Our client gives customers deep knowledge of their unique skin properties – using DNA analysis and interpretation – aiming to elevate customers’ shopping and skincare routine decision-making. However, their lab-style PDFs lacked inspiration and left customers with more questions than answers. Looking for a way to enhance their value to customers, we were hired to design and develop an aspirational, accessible digital platform hosting their DNA Results and inspiring customers to take confident action.
We strove to root the design in clarity, inspiration, and excitement. Focusing on integrating into – rather than recreating – the customer’s rituals, we created a scalable platform driving higher engagement rates, arming customers with confidence in their skincare routines.

Making results
easy to interpret
The first screen tactfully displays each customer’s results across 7 defining areas of skincare DNA measurements. Promoting exploration of these results encourages app exploration, establishes trust early on, and sets the tone for the rest of the interactive, educational app.

It was important to make actionable steps easy for users to find and engage with. Drawing on our teledermatology app development experience, we built and designed features for users combining client and public data, including product recommendations, hyper-targeted product suggestions, and unique exports of customer data for easy sharing with dermatologists and other medical professionals.
